Shloka Nath
Shloka currently leads the Policy Advocacy, Sustainability and Special Projects portfolio at the Tata Trusts which focuses on the organization’s work on climate, energy and environment. She is also the Acting Director of the India Climate Collaborative, an India-led platform founded in 2018 by a group of philanthropies interested in balancing India’s development with its climate goals. Additionally, her passion for nature has led her to be chosen as the Vice President of the Bombay Natural History Society and co-author Hidden India, a wildlife photography book.
Shloka began her career in the communications space at media houses like NDTV, BBC, and Forbes among others. After many years in journalism, she worked as a Researcher at the Gateway House, a foreign policy think tank in Mumbai. After completing her MPP at Harvard Kennedy School, she was involved in different roles in the development sector over the years -- like policy and communications consulting during the 2014 elections, impact investing at Sankhya Women Impact Funds, and as the Director of Development and Publishing at the Jnanapravaha Institute for Arts Education.
